About Advantage

Advantage specializes in commercial equipment financing, offering a full range of equipment financing services for businesses of all sizes throughout the United States. The company has relied heavily on its referral base to generate direct business, but also conducts its own marketing program through personal contact with equipment vendors and manufacturers. We also have had great success in partnering with bank loan officers and other professionals to provide equipment leasing and financing for their commercial customers. Advantage performs complete portfolio management services including credit, documentation, funding, billing, and collecting commercial lease and loan portfolios.

Company History

Advantage was founded in February of 1996 as a general equipment leasing company. Since its inception, the company has grown steadily, achieving its goals for each year. Our success can be attributed to high standards of integrity, superior customer service, a core staff of highly trained and experienced leasing professionals, and its ability to develop beneficial alliances and mutually beneficial partnerships with funding sources, referral sources, and customers. The company moved to our present location in Lake Oswego, Oregon in April of 2004, and established Advantage Business Capital as our sales and marketing arm.

Management

The ownership and principal management team is composed of two leasing industry veterans. Ross Reida founded Advantage after a successful tenure with a local, privately owned commercial equipment leasing company. Prior to entering the equipment leasing industry, Ross was with the U.S. Army as a career soldier.

Mr. Patrick Archibald joined the company as a partner in January of 1999 after serving as Regional Manager for First Sierra Financial (formerly Heritage Financial Services). Patrick serves as sales and operations manager, as well as heading up the credit and funding committee. Patrick earned a bachelor degree in finance at California State University Sacramento.

Both principals are involved in the day-to-day operations including origination, credit, documentation, funding, and collections of lease transactions, as well as successful vendor, lender, and employee relationship management.
