Ross Reida founded Advantage in 1996 after a successful tenure with a local, privately owned commercial equipment leasing company. Prior to entering the equipment leasing industry, Ross was with the U.S. Army as a Recruiting Commander.

Ross and his wife live on a farm north of Battleground, WA, and have three adult children and four grandchildren. He is active in the Oregon / SW Washington Risk Management Association and with his church.
